Detour

Hi, this is a small shooter game about a lone astronaut/explorer named John Spaceman.

Following a premature ejection from his cockpit, John has crash-landed in a small, hostile cave. To get back to his journey, he’s going to have to shoot his way out. Naturally, the local lifeforms will attack John Spaceman on sight—but don't worry, he's got his workbench. You'll need to help John craft, synthesize, and make wild new weapons using the parts of the lifeforms he defeats.

This is our very first game, so of course, there is room for improvement! We wanted to add more weapons and different kinds of enemies, but sadly we lacked the experience and ran out of time. Still, we really hope you like it and can at least get a feel for the core idea behind our game's mechanics. Have fun playing!
